Canvas or acid free watercolor and drawing paper will be used for your portrait.
Note:
In order to develop a good portrait, clear close-up photographs of the subject(s) are needed. Please provide me a good description of eye and coat colors, markings, etc. Photographs taken under artificial light and reflected light may not portray an accurate coat color, so try to provide pictures that appear to match it. Once again, sharp detailed photographs are necessary to capture a better likeness of your pet.
I will work with your photographs or digital images sent in JPEG(.jpg). The photographs will be returned to you with the completed portrait.
TO ORDER A PORTRAIT:
To commission a portrait, please send to me (malinda@theflyingunicorn.com) your name, address, phone number and email address, photographs, and indicate what type and size portrait you want. An online image of the preliminary portrait will be sent to you for your approval; if your approval is met, a 20% deposit is requested. Final payment is due when your portrait is ready to be shipped. Shipping and handling charges will be determined upon completion of the portrait. NC residents pay 7% sales tax on their purchases.
The time frame for completion of a portrait is 2 - 4 weeks from when I receive the images
